What is happening in Egypt?

No doubt the events which started on January 25 2011  are the brightest days of our history . In just 18 days we toppled a 30-year regime and in the end we have witnessed the birth of a true democracy. This is a revolution Full of peace, collective and spontaneous, structured under the leadership of Egypt's young population, , we are all consecrated by a shared revolution.

Is This a revolution of our specific age ? If so, what  is the basic idea of the essence of the uprising ?

The non-governmental organizations through the computer made the first technological revolution in history occurred almost everyone geçirmesiyle action! They have used all kinds of technical communication facilities : Tweeter, facebook, cell phones, . After all 85 million people stepped in and thus a long-term oppressive regime was toppled, and the exploitation of the layout! Non-governmental organizations, civil maturity are shown, and samples were internalized to those who flock to Tahrir Square.

Egyptian intellectuals, how are they approaching this process ?

Egyptian intellectuals are  proud of the revolution! However some were dubious about the ethical and moral aspects of the reforms, others  have misgivings about the continuity of the revolution and supporters of  the ousted regime do worry about what they know.

As a woman writer and intellectual do you think the revolution will be able to lead Egyptians into a real democracy, or do you believe they will lead an egalitarian society?
I think the Middle East has taken a new step in the egalitarian world. Is false, instead of everything wrong with the realities of a world that go through life. Election results deceive, the court would exclude the results of the basic rights and freedoms of any group or disposal will no longer be the case in question. From now on, not for civil and public officials work for the regime. This is a true democracy, in short, the first step on people's own self-manage.

Egypt for the next ten years, including the region, especially in terms of women how do you imagine?

There were women in every step of the revolution. Some of them were killed. Some people brought children to occur. Some of the demonstrators helped. Just as in 1919, to take part in the political arena, such as mothers and grandmothers fought their fight. Women's political rights, the Constitution was accepted in 1956, but unfortunately fell victim to these rights, the regime was worn out. After the Revolution of 25 young women will be candidates for parliamentary elections, I hope both. Whatever has happened in Egypt and the Middle East will spread to all men so that the rule which lasted for thousands of years to breed the two to exist side by side, space will be provided again.

Post-Islamist Muslim Brotherhood, the country in a way to route do you believe? Or may be a different agenda?

Indeed the Muslim Brothers think they had the revolution lesson. Pro-democracy majority of Egyptians, not theocracy. Moreover, if the announced candidates for the presidency of the Muslim Brotherhood. We are situated in the middle, and probably the majority of which will provide the Parliament and the Senate. This shall establish the rights arising from the cabinet, just as in Turkey.

What do you think of a new army against the Mubarak society can remove the surprise?

Tantawi Mubarak is the head of the Military Council of loyalty to normal. However, the spread of news of the old regime all the way for former ministers of corruption cases tıkamış.
